Recently, another invention patent of the company was authorised by the State Intellectual Property Office. The newly-authorised invention patent is ‘A kind of surface-coloured double-layer co-extrusion mould for cross-linked polyethylene insulated cables’ (Patent No.: ZL 2019 1 0032738.9).
The patent relates to a surface colouring double-layer co-extrusion mould for cross-linked polyethylene insulated cables, comprising a front bushing, a colouring cone bushing and a rear bushing, with one end of the front bushing axially inserted into one end of the feeder, with a feed opening radially provided on the side wall of one side of the feeder, and a conical bore axially provided in the interior of the other end of the feeder, and the conical portion of one end of the colouring cone bushing being inserted in and tightly affixed with the inner wall of the conical bore, with a circle of glue guide grooves corresponding to the feed opening provided on the outer side wall of the conical portion, with V-shaped runners symmetrically provided on both sides of the conical portion, and the V-shaped runners on both sides being turned around. The conical part of one end of the colouring cone sleeve is inserted into the conical bore and is close to the inner side wall of the conical bore, the outer wall of the conical part is provided with a circle of glue guide groove corresponding to the feeding port, both sides of the conical part are symmetrically provided with a V-shaped runner, the turning points of the V-shaped runners on both sides are connected to the glue guide groove and the ends of the two sides of the V-shaped runners meet at the axial end of the conical part, and the axial end of the conical part is mounted with a homogeneous ring. The present invention adopts a new structure of the colouring mould, and reduces the waste of colouring material during colour change by extruding and wrapping a thin layer of colouring insulating material in the outermost layer of the insulation, reduces the cost, and improves the quality of the product.
