Recently, Mr Ye of Ningbo Power Transmission and Construction Co., Ltd. brought the 26 newly recruited outstanding talents with high academic qualifications to study and visit Kouguan Cable. The company’s chief engineer Wen Shanghai warmly received and gave a lecture entitled ‘high-voltage cross-linked polyethylene insulated cable structure and the function of each structural unit’ for the visiting students.
In the course of the lecture, Mr Wen introduced the division of the voltage level of high-voltage cables and the corresponding product standards, explained in detail the composition of high-voltage cable structure and its role, and briefly explained the production process of each structure. He also introduced some of the current forward-looking technologies of high-voltage products, such as: smooth aluminium sheath, insulation thinning, polypropylene insulation and so on. He shared the typical quality problems of high voltage cables, the causes of buffer layer ablation and its solution measures.
After the wonderful lecture, Mr Wen led us to the high-voltage workshop to actually visit and learn the whole high-voltage cable production process and the application scenes of various cable equipments, the participants listened carefully and observed attentively. ‘Read ten thousand books, travel ten thousand miles’, the trainees have a more in-depth understanding of their own professional knowledge through the combination of theory and practice.
After the visit, we had a communication meeting, the participants asked questions enthusiastically, thirsty for knowledge, and showed a strong desire to explore the process technology of high-voltage cables. After Mr Wen’s detailed teaching, everyone praised our company’s advanced technology, efficient production process and strict quality control.
