Recently, the State Administration for Market Supervision and Administration and the State Administration for Standardisation jointly issued National Standard Announcement No. 22 of 2024, in which the national standard ‘Cross-linked polyethylene-insulated power cables and their accessories for rated voltages of 66 kV (Um=72.5 kV) and 110 kV (Um=126 kV) Part 2: Cables’, which is compiled with participation of Ningbo Kouguan Cable Company Limited and other units ( GB/T 11017.2-2024) was officially released on 29 September 2024, with an implementation date of 1 April 2025.
This standard is a comprehensive revision and expansion of the current GB/T 11017.2-2014 version of the national standard, to further ensure the quality and safety of 66-110kV voltage level power cables, it is through the cable of such voltage levels of the various technical indicators clearly specified, so that manufacturers in the production process can be based on, the healthy development of the high-voltage cable industry has a positive role in promoting, but also make the Users in the purchase and use of the process more assured.
