On 23 August, the Company released its 2024 semi-annual report on the information disclosure platform of the Beijing Stock Exchange, in which the Company achieved growth in revenue and profit and hit a record high for the same period in its history.
According to the Half-year Report 2024 of the Company, the Company achieved an operating revenue of RMB 1,632,972,600,000, representing an increase of 14.08% compared with the same period of the previous year, and a net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company of RMB 58,480,800,000, representing a year-on-year increase of 1.37%; at the end of the reporting period, the Company’s total assets amounted to RMB 2,707,380,800,000, and the owner’s equity attributable to shareholders of the listed company was RMB 104,134.02 million yuan. The weighted average return on net assets was 5.48%; and achieved earnings per share of RMB0.22.
In the first half of 2024, the external environment was complicated and severe, with rising uncertainty; the domestic economy, such as the transformation of old and new kinetic energy, brought new challenges, and effective demand was still insufficient. The wire and cable industry in which the Company is located, superimposed on the impact of sharp fluctuations in the price of copper, a bulk raw material, the market competition has become more intense. During the reporting period, the company rose to the challenge and operated steadily, optimising the strategic use of marketing resources externally and striving for market orders; continuing technological innovation internally and completing the research and development of a number of new products and process optimisation; and continuing to improve the quality of operations by expanding externally and grasping internally, the company successfully completed the half-yearly business objectives, achieving double growth in revenue and profit, and laying a solid foundation for the achievement of the full-year business objectives.
