In order to strengthen corporate culture, enrich employees’ sports and cultural life, enhance physical fitness, and foster team cohesion, the 2025 Qrunning Cup Winter Fun Sports Gala officially kicked off on the afternoon of December 20. Six competing teams took to the field, showcasing their vitality and enthusiasm to dispel the winter chill.
That afternoon, athletes entered the venue on time and lined up for the opening ceremony. Following speeches from leadership and a group warm-up session, the gala officially commenced. The event featured three team-based competitions—”Smooth Sailing,” “Collaborative Construction,” and “Invincible Wheel of Fire”—alongside a separately judged tug-of-war contest. Each activity tested teamwork while offering fun and challenge. In “Smooth Sailing,” participants cooperated seamlessly to swiftly transport all balls to designated targets. During “Collaborative Construction,” team members pulled rope hooks to precisely stack wooden blocks layer by layer, quickly regrouping after any misstep. In the “Invincible Wheel of Fire” challenge, teams worked together to build a movable track using newspapers and tape, marching in sync toward the finish line—undaunted even when the “wheel” split, promptly repairing it before continuing. After these three events, the tug-of-war began as the ultimate test of team cohesion. Each 15-member team gripped the long rope, planted their feet firmly, and pulled with full strength, while cheers and applause from the sidelines created an electric atmosphere.
The sports gala adopted a points-based system to determine the top three teams based on cumulative scores from the three main events, with trophies and prizes awarded accordingly. The tug-of-war contest honored a separate champion team. All participants received exclusive commemorative gifts. As the awards ceremony concluded, the event drew to a successful close.
This fun sports gala not only provided a platform for employees to showcase themselves and exchange skills but also enhanced mutual understanding through competition and strengthened unity through collaboration.
