Recently, a new type of cable for electric vehicle conductive AC charging systems, independently R&D and manufactured by the company, has successfully obtained certification from China Quality Certification Center (CQC) (Certificate No.: CQC25011494531). This marks that the product series has met national standards in terms of quality, safety and performance.

As a key component connecting power sources and EV charging interfaces, cables for electric vehicle conductive AC charging systems play a vital role in power transmission. Equipped with a certain number of signal and control wires, the reliability of these cables is directly tied to the safety and accuracy of the charging process. The CQC certification involved comprehensive testing of the product’s key indicators, including structural dimensions, electrical performance and mechanical properties. With its optimized structural design, high-quality raw materials and sophisticated manufacturing processes, the company’s product delivered outstanding performance across multiple tests, with all indicators satisfying certification requirements.
It is reported that to ensure core product performance, rigorous controls were implemented during the structural design and material selection phases:
- The copper conductors are made of high-purity oxygen-free copper, boasting excellent conductivity and flexibility.
- Both the insulation and sheath layers adopt dedicated TPE materials, which exhibit superior resistance to chemical liquids and artificial weathering, along with desirable flexibility, flame retardancy and environmental friendliness. These properties enable the cables to withstand harsh operating conditions such as repeated bending, outdoor temperature extremes and UV radiation.

The company’s product is suitable for a wide range of outdoor charging scenarios, providing safe and reliable solutions for various charging piles and EV users. The successful CQC certification of this new charging cable represents a solid step forward for Qiuguan Cable in deepening its presence in the new energy equipment market, expanding its product portfolio and enhancing its competitive strength. At present, several of the company’s charging cable models have passed trial application evaluations by well-known domestic new energy vehicle manufacturers.
Going forward, the company will continue to advance the R&D of charging cables and related wire and cable products, delivering safer, higher-quality and more efficient cable solutions for new energy equipment including electric vehicles, and working alongside industry peers and customers to build a clean and smart energy future.
