November 2025 marks the annual National Fire Safety Awareness Month, this year themed ‘Fire Safety for All, Life First – Safe Use of Fire and Electricity’. In active response to national fire safety initiatives and to fulfil corporate safety responsibilities, QRUNNING Cable partnered with the Beilun Brigade of Ningbo Fire and Rescue Corps on 3rd November to conduct a successful simulated electrical fire experiment at the company’s central laboratory (CNAS-accredited). The event attracted coverage from local mainstream media, with Ningbo Television and Ningbo Evening News journalists documenting the proceedings through filming and interviews, bearing witness to this collaborative effort between industry and fire services in fortifying safety defences.

At the demonstration site, the company’s technical team compared the safety performance of QRUNNING premium cables against substandard alternatives. By recreating typical fire hazards such as ageing electrical circuits and unauthorised charging cables, they vividly demonstrated processes including short-circuit ignition and arc discharge, providing on-site explanations of the underlying experimental principles and fire risks. The realistic scenario simulations and expert knowledge sharing not only deepened participants’ understanding of electrical fire hazards but also reinforced their sense of responsibility towards ‘safe use of fire and electricity’.

Ningbo Television and Ningbo Evening News journalists documented the experiment in detail, conveying through their lenses the company’s proactive stance in fulfilling its primary responsibility for fire safety. This showcased an innovative model of government-enterprise collaboration in advancing fire safety education.

The company’s central laboratory, serving as the venue for these experiments, provided crucial support through its professional capabilities. Having passed rigorous assessment by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) in 2025, the laboratory obtained CNAS system accreditation certification, signifying that its testing capabilities and quality management standards meet nationally recognised benchmarks. Equipped with internationally advanced testing apparatus and a seasoned technical team, the laboratory enables comprehensive quality control from raw material intake to finished product dispatch. Leveraging this specialised platform, the company not only efficiently fulfils internal quality inspection duties but also conducts activities such as fire simulation experiments and safety technology research. This extends its professional capabilities into societal fire safety domains, empowering safety awareness through technical expertise.
Safety constitutes the lifeline of corporate development and the fundamental baseline of social responsibility. QRUNNING Cables steadfastly upholds the development philosophy of ‘Life First, Safety Foremost’. It adheres to producing high-quality, environmentally friendly cable products using premium raw materials such as oxygen-free copper and high-end insulation materials, coupled with reliable processes and advanced equipment. Having passed 3C certification and EU RoHS standard testing, the company has established a strong brand image in the home decoration market, receiving the ‘Golden Reputation’ award for multiple consecutive years. Beyond manufacturing safe and reliable products, the company integrates fire safety management throughout its entire production and operational processes. This collaboration with the Beilun Fire and Rescue Brigade actively responds to the Fire Safety Awareness Month theme while concretely demonstrating the company’s commitment to serving society through professional expertise.
Moving forward, the company will continue leveraging the technical strengths of its CNAS-accredited laboratory to deepen collaboration with fire and rescue authorities, conducting more in-depth research in electrical safety and fire prevention. Concurrently, we remain steadfast in our commitment to social responsibility, continuously enhancing our fire safety management capabilities. This ensures safety principles are embedded within the enterprise and radiate throughout society, contributing to the development of a safer and more reliable public fire safety environment.
