However, issues such as overcapacity and homogenized competition continue to hinder industrial upgrading. This event deeply aligns with the “Made in China 2025” initiative, introducing a pioneering three-dimensional evaluation system encompassing “technology R&D, application scenarios, and low-carbon practices” to select industry leaders:
• Top 10 Leading Brands: Focusing on comprehensive strength, evaluating R&D investment, market share, and supply chain collaboration capabilities;
• Top 10 Specialized Brands: Deeply rooted in niche markets, emphasizing technical expertise, application service capabilities, and experience in major projects;
• Benchmark Enterprises: Recognizing companies demonstrating excellence in standardized production, quality control, low-carbon processes, and circular economy practices;
• Top 50/Top 100 Rankings: Covering the entire industry chain, reflecting the tiered development landscape of the sector.
Since its launch in March, the initiative has attracted over 300 renowned cable manufacturing and service brands nationwide to participate and support. Eligibility criteria include at least three years of legal operation, ownership of proprietary intellectual property technology, and no major accidents or credit violations in the past three years. The selection process involves four rigorous stages: qualification review, public voting, customer surveys, and comprehensive evaluation, ensuring the fairness and authority of the rankings.The companies that made the final list demonstrated outstanding performance in areas such as high-flame-retardant specialty cables, smart grid supporting technologies, and low-carbon production processes, highlighting the breakthrough achievements of the industry’s transition from “scale expansion” to “quality and efficiency.”
