World Investor Week is an annual global event spearheaded by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO). It aims to enhance investors’ education and protection awareness while highlighting initiatives undertaken by securities regulators in these two critical areas. To enable a broader investor base to benefit from investors’ education and protection efforts, the Committee on Retail Investors (C8) under IOSCO proposed the “World Investor Week” initiative at the 2016 Sydney conference.
The 2025 World Investor Week will take place from October 20 to 24, 2025. Centered around three themes—“Technology and Digital Finance”, “Artificial Intelligence (AI)” and “Fraud Prevention”—the event will focus on thoroughly implementing the guiding principles of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, the Central Financial Work Conference, and the Central Economic Work Conference, as well as the regulatory responsibilities of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC). It aims to further enhance investors’ awareness of rational investment, value investing, and risk prevention.
